History
Total Steelwork has been the name in steelwork for over 15 years. From humble beginnings the company has transformed from a small Warrington based firm, Total Engineering, to now being a major player in the construction, rail and road industries under the name Total Steelwork and Fabrications. This has been largely down to the hard work and endeavour of the Owner and Managing Director, Mike Lomax.
Mike started in the industry in 1980 as a workshop apprentice at a local steelwork firm; from there he worked his way into the office to manage some of the biggest contracts the company was involved in. After over twenty years loyal service and being made a director, Mike felt it was time for a new challenge and was offered the chance to buy into a small locally run fabrication company (Total Engineering). As the company grew it was apparent a change of image and ownership was needed. Mike bought the company outright to take sole ownership and Total Steelwork and Fabrications as the company is known today was born.
After receiving the Business Link Business Person of the Year Award 2006, Mike Lomax and Total Steelwork & Fabrication have continued to hit new heights.
Now, over fifteen years later, the company is flourishing with a growing client and contract list all over the UK. Our reputation is second to none as we have kept our friendly client driven approach the same, despite the growth we have experienced over the years. This is why clients not only come to us to fulfil their needs but they keep coming back to us, time after time.
